Good Reads (some of the info they have is old and outdated, I’m in the process of getting permission to update it)
I'm at Shelfari, too
Archived reviews of the backlist are still at e book review sites like Fallen Angles, (rec. read) and most all of the others, coffeetime, loves romance, so on. I have a wiki wet paint site, which I think is linked up here via the About page.
We’re in the process of getting this stuff linked up on the side bar, so hang with us, lol.
For new to me, readers, Many Novels in the backlist (books out of contract that were with other publishers from 2004-2006 or 07, are published second Edition or 3rd through Aircastle Books and I've made them avail through various e book stores (listed above) and my Indie store Aircastle.
Some archived reviews will list the old publisher with the old covers. I’m doing my best to update where I've permission to do so, in order to avoid confusion. (My legal page has some info on that, also) If you have any questions, feel free to post here and ask, or use any of the contact links here or at Aircastle, or...ask me on any of the social groups, yahoo, twitter, facebook, so on.
Short information, (grin)
First Edition books that were published by any of these publishers:
Double Dragon
All romance books (defunct)
Linden Bay
Champagne Books
Whiskey creek press
Alinar publishing
(Gee I think that's all, lol) are long out of contract, with the exception of the novels still at Champagne Books and WCP.
With all (exclusive) rights returned to me at the end of contract, I make those available (2nd-3rd) editions, through the list of e retail (bookstores) above. Some Gayle Eden 1st editions put out through Aircastle, are avail there and in the process of being listed at various e outlets. With the exception of Sony, all e bookstores listed, have some Gayle Eden and Eve Asbury books on hand.
There are free e books avail at my Aircastle site, and excerpts there, as well as on the yahoo site. (Although some need updated, because...I'm never done hopping around doing that (grin)
To access sample chapters on the
Yahoo group site, click files, on the side bar there, that will take you to the excerpts. Aircastle has first chapter excerpts you can read. And the Free e books are downloadable at
www.aircastlebooks.com
Through my Indie re issues, (via Aircastle) I've been able to keep my prices very low, for the readers, and we regularly have sales. I hope every reader who enjoys my writing will support what I do and avoid illegal/pirated copies, which prevents me and many other e published writers from earning anything on books. Thus, taking income that upkeep’s the websites, buys the cover art and pays our editors and eventually will make it not feasible for us to invest in writing each book. (POD (paperback) issues account for less than 1% of sales, thus do not make enough to be considered profit after costs) I’m first and foremost an e-published author.
I humbly thank those readers who have been with me since I started in 2004-05 (you guys are the best) And eagerly welcome new readers, who allow me to entertain them with a story or two (smile)
I'm still in love with what I do, and hope to keep doing it, at least for a few more years.
Happy reading. D
Eh, I’m running a spell check over this, lol. Everywhere I've posted today I've left errors and omitted words. Got one of those blinding post- editing- too- many hours- headaches, so pardon the goofs.
As a post note. I now have my author acct ok'd at GoodReads, and will be working over there to get the updates done, asap. I'll open a blog there too. As we give this site the yearly facelift, I'll link there along with other sites mentioned above.
Also someone asked me awhile back about the big novel I had out in 05 with Double Dragon, which was a Single Title victorian. (TEACH ME TO LOVE) TMK the only copy I may have of it, (as it came out of contract some time back) is likely A DRAFT on floppy. (Can you believe those are almost unheard of now) lol. But I do have an external drive for floppy (If it still works) and time permitting, I'll revise and re-edit the novel and try to get it up. It's one of the first books I wrote around 1999 so I imagine the 400 plus pages need some serious editing, (grin)
