Honestly, I've been lax about this, blame it on my terrible chaotic year, But I've got pals with books out I either, read after publication, or read in the writing process, whatever. I know VenessaJayne to be a smart and witty writer, so I want y'all check out her debut book FelicityStripped Bare, avail at Samhain July 8th- And a writer with a crisp mainstream voice I also-- sooo dig, is Amie Stuart who has several books out (and has been racking up some awards) both links to these ladies are on my side blog. I recently read The Moonchild's wish, and Lupine by Candy Nicks http://www.candynicks.com/ avail at Fictionwise and Alinar publishing. I had them on the laptop and read them in one night, Candy is writing more books to that fantasy series, and I know one of them is from a fav character of mine. lol.

Shane Ireland picked up his nineteen-year-old son at
the garage where he’d had to leave his car again. Rhone
wouldn’t give up on the old Pontiac he’d built from parts

I know the weekend isn't here yet, but I have piled up cleaning, lots of yardwork and yes, sorting thorugh clothing to pack away (havent done that spring cleaning yet) so I'll be on less. I got so wrapped up in this new book I've put everything off, and now Im going to be killing myself getting everything done. I have stuff sitting all over the bedroom floor where we're basically gutting this house, and it's making me crazy trying to find anything.. so I have to get some order in there. The yard... still has debris from the storm, and the drive needs painted. Gah, the list just grows, we have to fix the gutters the storm ripped off ... >> full

Fantasy- Slayer, now at 396, woot! I'm going to need new eyeballs, lol. All right, so I need to go back in and switch a scene around, my mind slowed down somewhere and it-just-don't fit, right now. I can use the dialogue later though hee! Need food, need sleep, lots of sleep. I'm going for the sleep first....Happy reading all. D

I'm at 260 something and I thought this was going to be a 300pager, but I've some really impt scenes to write yet. Hmmm, well, I suppose an epic should be epic in word count (wince) either that or I gotta lot of editing to do when I'm done, ye olde slash, cut and gut. I guess thats not a bad thing considering I could be struggling for words instead of overflowing here...
K, Im back to writing a battle scene. Happy reading all.
