I'm an author of ST Romance, sensual Romance and various fiction. In my real life, I'm a wife, mother, G mother, unrepentant coffee and chocolate addict, oh, and I love to read, anything from romance to fantasy, Bios and history. Love all sorts of music, too. On a good day I'm laid back and amusing, on a bad one, I'm running in every direction at once (that's the coffee and chocolate lol).

 Pimp some pals, lol

posted by Eve/Gayle on June 29, 2008 20:54 as General

Honestly, I've been lax about this, blame it on my terrible chaotic year, But I've got pals with books out I either, read after publication, or read in the writing process, whatever. I know VenessaJayne   to be a smart and witty writer, so I want y'all check out her debut book FelicityStripped Bare, avail at Samhain July 8th- And a writer with a crisp mainstream voice I also-- sooo dig, is Amie Stuart who has several books out (and has been racking up some awards) both links to these ladies are on my side blog.   I recently read The Moonchild's wish, and Lupine by Candy Nicks http://www.candynicks.com/  avail at Fictionwise and Alinar publishing. I had them on the laptop and read them in one night, Candy is writing more books to that fantasy series, and I know one of them is from a fav character of mine. lol.

Her Way Home –

Chapter 1

Shane Ireland picked up his nineteen-year-old son at

the garage where he’d had to leave his car again. Rhone

wouldn’t give up on the old Pontiac he’d built from parts

when he was sixteen.

"What was it this time?" Shane glanced at him, pulling

out into the sleepy town traffic, an occasional truck or

car heading out of town. Deerfield, Tennessee wasn’t

even a place on the map. It was one of those rural wide

spots that hadn’t changed much except for a few

modern stores and a drive-thru at the bank.

Rhone rested his elbow on the ...

 Weekend

posted by Eve/Gayle on June 25, 2008 23:56 as General

I know the weekend isn't here yet, but I have piled up cleaning, lots of yardwork and yes, sorting thorugh clothing to pack away (havent done that spring cleaning yet) so I'll be on less. I got so wrapped up in this new book I've put everything off, and now Im going to be killing myself getting everything done. I moved the puter out of the bedroom corner, back into the useless dining room- I say useless because at only 9x9 feet, it is useless for our family dinners. I have stuff sitting all over the bedroom floor where we're basically gutting this house, and it's making me crazy trying to find anything.. so I have to get some order in there. The yard... still has debris from the storm, and the drive needs painted. Gah, the list just grows, we have to fix the gutters the storm ripped off ...

posted by Eve/Gayle on June 25, 2008 2:45 as General

Fantasy- Slayer, now at 396, woot! I'm going to need new eyeballs, lol.  All right, so I need to go back in and switch a scene around, my mind slowed down somewhere and it-just-don't fit, right now.  I can use the dialogue later though hee! Need food, need sleep, lots of sleep. I'm going for the sleep first....Happy reading all. D

 It's sorta growing....

posted by Eve/Gayle on June 24, 2008 7:08 as General

I'm at 260 something and I thought this was going to be a 300pager, but I've some really impt scenes to write yet. Hmmm, well, I suppose an epic should be epic in word count (wince) either that or I gotta lot of editing to do when I'm done, ye olde slash, cut and gut.  I guess thats not a bad thing considering I could be struggling for words instead of overflowing here...
K, Im back to writing a battle scene. Happy reading all.
