Well the writing part is, except for tweaking and fine tuning here and there. Next comes an edit, and finding the cover I want. So that is, Ronan's Bride, Seductions in Silk, Shadows in Silk, and Lord Dangerous.
Tech LD did come out a Novella because it's below 55,ooo words, (not sure how that is gaged anymore really) it came in around the same that the in silk books did. (I wonder if that's just my ebb and flow of wrting now, lol) Anyway, I need to sharpen a few of the scenes and I decided to tell the duel stories for both sisters because both the males were, well dangerously compelling. lol. It's going to have a stronger rating I think, but that is because the characters decided to have some (dark) parts in their early life... and well, it just evolved that way.
K-enjoy the upcoming weekend everyone. Happy ... >> full

Thought I would do some Q and A since I'm on the last chapters of Lord Dangerous (prolly going to be a long Regency as opposed to a Novella. Anyway, someone asked once why I did the short stories BB and The Allure. Two reasons, one is it's a way to show readers your writing voice so they can buy cheap and decide if they like it, before spending more on a long work. sorta like free reads. Although many publishers now sale 5,000 word shorts I think. That's my reason.
Another is, it gives me a break between long works, and it forces me to write lean.
I always write them though, thinking somewhere down the road I'll expand them, lol.
Another question is, do I set out to write series? No. Not really. The only series works I plotted in advance haven't been published yet and are UF/Fantasy. ... >> full

We're getting the new releases ready. I'm writing, 100 pages into Lord Dangerous, yeah yeah, I know. The muse didn't let me read anything, It told me I had to finally get this story written that I've started a dozen times. I'll eventually run out of steam and have so many neck cramps and such eye strain I'll have to take a break, lol.:) People will recognize me as the hunch shouldered lady with both eyes twitching.
The muse has no clue that I'm a human I think, it's like a movie projector with no off button that can blare in the middle of my sleep so I get up and write more. rofl.
Happy reading, D
(when I go through writer's block, I'll be begging for a plug to connect me to it, won't I (grin)

These are rough, a bit long, (As a rule, I was taught many years ago, to keep book blurbs at 100 words. (when I critted and wrote for strictly NY submissions... but meh, times change, I've been writing e books a long time and some people like them longer in e books I've discovered, lol) but we'll have them up here and on Aircastle books soon. I deliberately didn't include Shadows in silk blurb yet, because there may be some spoilers for those who haven't read the first two in the series. (It will go up though, asap) Anyway, here they are. Seductions in Silk (Book 3 of the in silk series)
