Just wrapping up the last chapters.
Editing will take me awhile on a book this big, but at least, after 5 looong years of saying to readers/reviwers I would, I'll have written it.
LOL, Happy Reading all. G kids birthday this weekend, Pizza and purple cake.

Chapter 2
Before she reached the doorknob, he was there, chaps, trophies and small duffel in hand while he opened it for her. Raelyn stepped inside, having forgotten how big it was, and eyeing the expanse of tile floor in the step-down den/living room. It was terracotta and slate gray with red stone mixed in. A large fireplace scattered potted trees and furnishings. Down the three steps, the wide open kitchen arch on her right came into view, it had a long island and tile, much of it copper, brass and with big windows. She set her boots down and saw no lights on up the hall. “My room is at the back, beside Ty’s. Frank took the next. That leaves you three to choose from.” “Sure.” She absently noted the metal scones and Spanish flavored paintings, wondering that such a beautiful ... >> full

The Fox

Gabriel let two days pass before he sent word to Madam LeBelle in Soho to direct Sir Thomas Krandel to him. He knew she would deduce he’d taken Blair’s offer from his missive. But he was used to her coarse humour and paid little heed to the jibes she took at his own life. Madam sent word that Sir Thomas’s usual night was Wednesday, she would see that he got the message. Autumn was upon them—rain and fog. The sloppy sort of weather that kept men inside, and kept them gambling. Gabriel was in his accounting office when Rupert showed Sir Thomas in. It wasn’t just the farm. Young Brody Black-wing couldn’t attend the local school because he was half Cheyenne, and given that someone had shot their father in the back, likely for daring to live openly with a Cheyenne woman. She didn’t want him subjected to the hate and bitterness that still thrived from the Indian wars. Josie knew, as her father had known, that it was a reality. Because they lived according to their own convictions. Life itself wasn’t easy ... >> full

I've decided that 80,682 words, sounds better than 254 pages, but both mean progress lol. Actually, since I don't have the chapter's seperated yet, the page counting isn't going to be right. The words however, are true.
So, this close to 90,000 words is a "yeah baby," for me.
Alright, I know it's the first draft, but I'll take it.
Happy reading. D
