I did get those leaves mowed, and got to see the grass in the yard for two days....Ah, then it rained and the wind blew all night and I stepped out with my coffee this morning to see a whole new carpet had covered it. LOL. I remind myself how much I love and respect this old oak tree that shades us in summer, every time I have to clear that front lawn and the drive, and the side yard. I have photos during the seasons, showing that it takes until about FEB for all of the leaves to have shed. Oh well...
I got some work done, editing and finishing up a short story. Hubby's off today so we're going to try and tackle the old bathroom floor (needs replaced) by the time he's back to work, I should have worked out the next chapters of another I'm working on ... >> full

Editing this morning, going to break and mow the front lawn this afternoon (if it don't rain again, and if the mower will push over that foot carpet of leaves. Then, I plan on writing/finishing a short story tonight and by the AM I should be back to clean up/ edit work. That's my plan anyway, lol, my fingers and palms are still sore, so I'm typing veddy carefully.
Have a good week, happy reading. D

I don't know which part of my body hurts the most, inside and out. I've about a thousand cuts on my hands and my back feels locked up. LOL, we did get MIL's heat pump installed (Now I know why me and hubby gave up the biz years ago-duct work is a killer) but at least she'll be warm and cozy. And we'll feel better knowing she isn't running up and down stairs fooling with a coal boiler.
I'm off to doctor blisters, cuts and baby my back~ somewhere soft ~(grin.) I'm getting old.... most def...
Happy reading D

I'm off to do some grunt work for a few days. It's cold and wet, rain, rain, dreary, lol. I suppose it puts us in the mood for Halloween though. Actually it makes me crave potato soup, (grin).
I hope you find something good to curl up with if it's nippy where you are, a book--or someone special. Think of me across the mountain, doing some hump work at M in laws...Gotta get her house ready for winter.
Happy reading all. D
