Since my website has been through as many transitions as I have in the past ten years, I thought I should provide information for those of you who may just be discovering my work. Here is some information on who I am, where to find me, and how I got here. For older interviews, see Romance at Heart Magazine, and also Love Romances Eve Asbury Interview. For my latest interview, visit Alinar Publishing Gayle Eden Interview. I plead the fifth on any and all exaggerations.

Want to find me at other places on the web? Go here: Gayle Eden/Eve Asbury/BD Dillon MyspaceSometimes I can be found here: Ladies Who Write Blogspot.

If you don't find the book reviews listed on this site helpful on Eve/Gayle books, or the reviews at Alinar Publishing and my other publishers’ websites, most are archived on all the e-review sites. Also check Fallen Angel Romance's Recommended Read listings. Archived reviews will likely be listed under the old publisher with that cover, but you will find some here: Air Castle Books Wetpaint Reviews Page. The new editions/reissues of these books are available in e-book at Alinar Publishing, with any links to Kindle or paperback.

If you have any questions about my writing, the books, the Alinar Publishing Co-op, the new editions, my process, or anything else, feel free to use the contact page or the FAQ on this site, which has a comment box. I also welcome comments through my blog. I'll answer just about anything.

Want to know who my old critique partners were? Ladies I proudly pimp because they are great authors, wonderful human beings: Vanessa Jaye, Amie Stuart, and Denise's Den Blog. They had mercy on me when I was green as grass, and helped me get where I am now. One generous/great/fantastical author who showed me, and can teach you, how to be a Happy Hooker, plus she’s from my birth state: Suzanne McMinn. At one time, I had about seventeen critique partners, but these are the main ones I tortured into reading my stuff, in the beginning.

I've been online a long time, so who was I back then on the Harly-Q-boards? EvieMac. Yes, I once posted the complete rendition of Delta Blues artist Doc Watson's Intoxicated Rat, after a binge on a six pack of Hershey bars and 3 days without sleep. Want to see the first wonderful, head-hopping, 600 page mega-Medieval I wrote 1989PD-PE era (Post duh, Pre Enlightenment?) Oops, sorry. It's under the bed.

Who do I use as a sounding board, or to rant and whine to now? Candy Nicks and Lily Graison. Where was my first online site? Bravenet. It was all plush red with lots of bling.

I was a member of RWA (Northern Virginia) for about 15-20 years, don't recall exactly how long but it was until around 2001. I bought Romantic Times Magazine since back when it was published out of a NY basement. I read Writer's Digest (yeah I know, lol) and bought K. Faulk's first on writing romance back in the day. I wrote my first book in 1980 on a word processor. You remember them. The not-a-computer-fancy-pants electric typewriters. That book was The Bond and the Brand. Of course, I had to write it again two years ago. I burned the original when I realized two jobs and life wasn't going to let me write back then. Weep with me here, people, because St. Martins Press asked for a partial and I never sent it, never wrote another word for years....

At the risk of tooting my own horn, and I never do, I've had several books on the Fictionwise bestseller lists, including (but not limited to) highest rated, and bestselling author (current and last 6 months categories), under both names. Several times in the last 4 years, I was also on Amazon's Top 100 with Whispers in the Dark. It also got nominated for several e-Review awards. All of that is due to you readers, to whom I am forever, humbly grateful. Now, that's all the pimping you'll see from me, lol.

Okay, so now you know most everything about me as a writer (probably more than any normal person would want to know), but if this still isn’t enough to sate your thirst for my history, just ask.

Happy reading, all.
